switching between peer-to-peer linking and WiFi

Another tip about a REALLY common tech question!

Chances are, if your Transcriber laptop is WiFi enabled, you want to be able to use it to connect to the Internet when you’re not in class.  Then, when you get to class, you want to be able to use that wireless capability to link the Reader computer.  Is is possible to switch between the two?  Yes, but it can be a tech-pain!

There ARE better ways to get the features you want.  The painful and less painful methods are all at http://typewell.com/linking.html#shared.

Be sure to read the section called, “The Internet and TypeWell Wireless.”
